Main objective of the project was to visualize relevant information concerning the analysis of the gross margin evolution to the appropriate management parties.

Within the intranet-based application implemented for this objective, the information can be presented at different levels of detail (drill-down) to gain either a comprehensive overview or to perform further detailed analysis, depending on the users specific information needs. Clearness and usability is further enhanced through the possibility to switch between table reports or charts and to adjust various display settings and parameters, making it easy to draw connections and spot important trends.

All reports can be released or locked for individual users or user groups respectively, they can be restricted to certain regions, countries or products. Each user can set up and customize specific reports individually and store them as favorites in order to have relevant information and selection criteria present upon the next visit.
